Simon Cowell has reportedly lashed out at fellow judges Cheryl and Dannii following Sunday night’s shock result. Simon accused the female judges of putting more time on their outfits than on their remarks during the shows, telling them “it’s a talent show, not a fashion show”
A source told 3am, “Simon could not believe his act Danyl – or Miss Frank, for that matter – were in the sing-off and he was in a foul mood all evening
“After the show he summoned all the judges to his dressing room, and let rip at Cheryl and Dannii for spending more time preparing their outfits than their remarks for the show. Dannii and Cheryl are always immaculately turned out and spend ages choosing their clothes and accessories, having their hair and make-up done and generally perfecting their ‘look’. But in no uncertain terms Simon told them it’s a talent show, not a fashion show.”
The source added: “To be fair, Simon was angry because he could not get his head around the fact Danyl, who he saw as a potential winner, was in the bottom two and the twins John and Edward made it through on the public vote
“He had to blame someone – perhaps he thinks the judges’ comments might have altered the outcome in some way. He was on the war path and needed to vent and unfortunately, the
girls were his target.”
Sunday night saw girl group Miss Frank go out after singing for survival with then favourite Danyl Johnson.
