The X Factor final schedules have been confirmed, with two bumper 2 hour shows over the December 12/13 weekend. Plus, X Factor judge Cheryl Cole and Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle get their own shows to help the ratings.
The X Factor fun kicks off on Saturday, December 12 at 18:30 with Cheryl Cole’s Night In, an hour show where the X Factor judge will perform songs from her platinum number #1 debut album and welcome some other performers to the stage. Stars lined up for the show include X Factor 2008 winner Alexandra Burke, Will.I.Am and Rihanna.
Following that is the first half of the X Factor final, starting at 19:30 and finishing at 21:30. The final 3 – Joe, Olly and Stacey – will each sing a Christmas number, a duet and their favourite song from the contest so far. According to Radio 1′s Newsbeat, third place will be announed at the end of the Saturday show.
On Sunday this series of The X Factor comes to a close as the winner is crowned in another 2 hour show from 19:30.
Following that at 21:30 is The Susan Boyle Story, a documentary following the rise to wolrdwide fame of Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle. The show features performances from Susan herself and X Factor 2007 runner up Rhydian Roberts.
