Twins John and Edward are to go head-to-head with judges Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell after both pairs were nominated for a Loaded Lafta award for Funniest Double Act. The awards are voted for by the public and will take place January 27.
Other double acts include 6 Music presenters Adam and Joe, BBC comedy duo Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller, plus Shooting Stars’ Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
Other big comedy names nominated for awards include Michael McIntyre, Dara O’Briain, Justin Lee Collins, Harry Hill, Jo Brand and Sarah Silverman.
