Cheryl Cole to cancel X Factor performance?

Cheryl Cole is reportedly going to cancel a planned X Factor performance of her debut solo song, “Fight For This Love” over she is too nervous, it has emerged. The member of Girls Aloud has been working with a number of producers to create her debut solo album which will be released later this year.

Cole was originally lined up to perform live on the show to promote her first single but these plans are reportedly about to be scraped because Cole fears her vocals are not up to scratch.

An insider told Now magazine, “Although she’s worked with some of the biggest producers in pop, she feels lost without the rest of Girls Aloud. She isn’t considered the strongest singer in the band and she’s in a blind panic about [singing] on the show.

“She’s yet to agree to it because she’s so nervous, but we’re not sure how much choice she’ll have.

“She’s been told to look after her vocal chords as much as possible from now on, but she’s still smoking, which isn’t helping her voice, even though it eases her stress.”

Cheryl and her fellow Girls Aloud band members have taken a year out to focus on solo projects. Both Cole and Nadine Coyle have been working on solo material.
