John and Edward favourite to get the boot tonight

John and Edward

X Factor duo John and Edward the bookies favourite to get the boot in tonight’s live shows. Despite increasing support for the pair’s “entertaining” performances, Paddy Power has the pair at 13/8 favourites to be kicked out later today.

It is by no means a certainty however, Rachel Adedeji – who has found herself in the bottom two since the start – is not far behind the twins at odds of 15/8. Simon Cowell last night joked that Rachel’s performance was like that of another person compared to previous weeks, saying she was a new contender in the contest. However her hyperactive Stacey-like interview with Dermot seems to have lost her some support with fans saying the 18-year-old was putting on an act.

Lloyd Daniels and girl group Miss Frank could also be in danger, with odds of 9/4 and 7/1 respectively. Leaked voting reports suggest that Miss Frank have been in the bottom 4 in previous weeks and despite his looks, Lloyd looks to be losing support.

Of course this is The X Factor – any anything could happen tonight! Our prediction for the bottom two is John & Edward and Lloyd – with the twins leaving.

  1. Oh my goodness! No!! I love John and Edward! And can you imagine the look on Simon’s face if they got anywhere near the finals? :-)

  2. i hate john and edward i just want them to get out louis is so deaf cause he thinks their awsome but their not!

  3. If John and Edward leave it will be last i watch of the rest of the shows. John and Edward are brilliant, myself, my family and friends only watch it this year for them. Their keeping us glued, if they go the show will be utter boredom.

    • Do you actually think it is an entertainment show? The X Factor is a singing competition, the winner gets a recording contract, its not about being glued to the TV because their funny to watch, they cant sing! Why should actual talent in the competition miss out on their dreams for a couple of prats, led by Louis Walsh? What is everyone thinking. Not only an embarrassment for the X Factor, but also an embarrassment of the UK voting public.
