Jedward made a heartfelt apology to Lucie Jones in the X Factor contestants’ house before she moved out on Monday, it has been revealed. The pair said they felt bad she had been kicked out, saying she was an ‘amazing singer’ and would have ‘a brilliant career’.
Twins John and Edward told Lucie: “We feel bad. We’re so, so sorry that you didn’t get through, you are an amazing singer.
“We think you are going to have a brilliant career and we hope you won’t blame us.
“It’s been incredible to perform on the show but the last thing we want to do is upset anyone.”
A source added that the pair had “never left her side” until Lucie moved out last Monday.
Lucie also added: “Simon said goodbye to me, then he just said: ‘Keep your chin up’. I thanked him.”
