14.3 million viewers tuned in to watch Jamie Archer leave last night’s X Factor, a slight decline of around 100,000 viewers compared to last week’s shock result. The show also featured performances from Shakira, the final 12 and Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor.
14.4 million watched last week’s results but despite the decline the ratings are still much higher than any of last year’s episodes.
Over on ITV2, 1.11 million watched the latest instalment of Xtra factor, a sharp decline of some 1.2 million viewers week on week. This however was to be expected as this week’s result wasn’t particularly surprising, with both Jamie and Lloyd being the bookies favourites to leave.
