The Sun has revealed that this year’s winner’s song is still being decided upon (despite Simon saying it had been chosen on Sunday) – and has leaked the two choices. When it was revealed that last year’s winner’s song would be Hallelujah there were claims it was fixed for Diana Vickers who had previously sung the song, if the leaks are correct we may see similar claims…
Simon is set to pick Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ for the winners song, a song Joe has already performed. Joe’s version was so good it managed to make the original climb to #19 in the charts – the highest chart peak for the song in the UK.
The second choice however is, as we earlier reported, The Climb as performed by Miley Cyrus.

An insider told the paper: “Danyl and Olly really think they can win. They will be shocked to learn the winner’s song is one Joe has already performed.
“It is getting to the crucial stages now and Simon and producers are very confident that Joe could be the winner. He made a great fist of Don’t Stop Believin’ and that has helped.
“It’s always a difficult call choosing the song, especially as there are some very different talents in the final line-up.”
