A massive 13m viewers watched Kandy Rain become the first contestants eliminated from The X Factor last night as they sung off with Rachel Adedeji after the two acts received the fewest public votes. On Saturday over 11m tuned in to watch the first live show.
11.3m viewers tuned in to the 2 hour marathon live show, beating BBC1′s Strictly by over 3m as it managed to interest 8m viewers. 1.35m viewers switched over to ITV2 to watch the arguments between the judges continue from 10-11pm.
Last night an average of 13m viewers – a 46% share – watched the first results show. This represent the highest figure of the series, surpassing last week’s 12.4m.
At 9pm 1.37m watched ITV2′s Xtra factor, a series high for the spin off.
