Alexandra Burke leads Robbie Williams in their battle for this weeks number ones, according to early mid week figures. Previous X Factor winner Alex released her new single Bad Boys while Robbie Williams hopes for a chart comeback with Bodies.
According to mid week sales, Alex has sold around 89,000 units of her first single since Hallelujah which was released last December. Meanwhile Robbie has managed to shift only 43k of his first single since March 2007.
Burke’s debut album, Overcome, will be released next week.
Next week X Factor judge Cheryl Cole will release her debut solo single, Fight for this love, which she will perform on this week’s results show.
