Olly Murs to sign six-figure deal with Epic Records

Olly Murs

Olly Murs is set to sign a six-figure record deal with Epic, it has been reported. The runner up is in talks with the label who turned last year’s runners up JLS into a chart success. The news comes after it was revealed last week that Simon Cowell’s Syco label would not be signing anyone other than Joe.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Olly is close to signing a six-figure deal with the label which will see him release new material after The X Factor live tour.

A source told the paper: “Olly’s been down in the dumps because Simon had turned down working with him and it didn’t look like anybody else would want to sign him up.

“But Epic really believe he’s the ‘JLS’ of this year. They think he has the talent and longevity needed to make it as a pop star.”
