After a successful stint as the title role in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, X Factor 2008′s Diana Vickers is now preparing to release her debut album this April. The lead single from the album is called Once and from this 30 second preview radio premiere it sounds like an absolutely brilliant track.

Vickers signed to RCA Records after she finished fourth in the 2008 series of The X Factor, mentored by Cheryl Cole.

Her debut album is being marketed as “one of the sparkiest and most unique pop records of recent years”, the lead single Once is released on April 19 this year and here is its radio premiere from Radio 1′s Switch…

Diana’s debut album is currently slated for released on April 26.
