Simon Cowell is reportedly set to sign Dermot O’Leary and Cat Deeley to present The X Factor and The Xtra Factor when the USA version of the show starts next year. Current UK host Dermot will bag the job fronting the main show while Deeley, already a well known presenter in the US, will front The Xtra Factor.
Louis Walsh is reportedly currently the favourite choice of X Factor UK judges to move over to the US version of the show which starts next year. According to The Mirror, Cheryl Cole’s accent created problems during test screenings in front of American audiences earlier this year, whilst Louis’ Irish connection makes him more appealing to the US market.

The now solo star, who split with husband of four years Ashley Cole last month, is said to be Simon’s first choice for the show when it starts in the autumn of 2011.
