Singing Tesco checkout worker Mary Byrne has said she’s no Susan Boyle following comparisons after her audition on last night’s show. Mary wowed the judges and audience in Dublin with her rendition of Shirley Bassey’s ‘I Who Have Nothing’ to sail through to bootcamp with four yeses from the judges.
Former X Factor auditionee Anastasia returned to The X Factor last night where she once again got through to bootcamp. The 21-year-old originally auditioned two years back in Series 5 where she made the judges’ houses, but wasn’t taken through to the live finals by then mentor Cheryl Cole.
Mary Byrne left the judges close to speechless and Cheryl in tears with her audition on last night’s show. The Tesco checkout worker impressed the panel as she belted out Shirley Bassey’s ‘I Who Have Nothing’ to get four yeses into the next round.

A five piece boyband called The Reason impress the judges on tomorrow’s show with a cover of Cheryl Cole’s ‘Fight For This Love’. The group from Southampton, which is made up of friends Scott, Glenn, Nathan and Mark, were originally called ‘The WhiteVine RawHigs’ and were featured on our website back in July.
