With The X Factor series 7 starting in just says, show host Dermot O’Leary has given his views and opinions on this year’s X Factor guest judges. Big names including Katy Perry and Pixie Lott took a place on the judging panel to fill in for pregnant Dannii Mingoue, with mixed reactions from the crowd. However what did Dermot think of them all?
The X Factor host Dermot O’Leary has revealed that Cheryl’s absence due to Malaria during the audition stages was a ‘major blow’ to the show. Speaking ahead of the new series, which premieres next Saturday, Dermot said the programme wasn’t the same without the ‘warmth’ Cheryl brings to the panel.
X Factor boss Simon Cowell has reportedly told judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue to ‘toughen up’ ahead of the live shows, saying the programme is not about their ‘style war’. According to News Of The World, Simon is hoping that the panel this year will give more honest, constructive criticism to all of the acts.
