Sunday ratings rise to 13.9m as Rachel is sent home

Last night’s X Factor results show was watched by an average of 13.9 million viewers, the highest figure ever for the show with over 500,000 more viewers than last Sunday’s show, the previous series high. The audience peaked at a massive 15.2 million viewers as Rachel was sent packing.
