X Factor twins Jedward have signed a new record deal with music giant Universal Music just a day after being dropped by rival label Sony. The Irish duo have been signed to produce three albums with manager Louis Walsh saying that the boys now have “a great career ahead of them.”

Jedward’s debut song, a cover of Under Pressure, peaked at number 2 but spent less than 5 weeks in the Top 40 before plummeting down the chart, selling less than 100,000 copies in its run.
