Simon Cowell is reportedly urging the other judges to praise Joe McElderry in order to help him win this series, it has been reported. Joe received his second standing ovation of the series on Saturday, he is still the only contestant to receive a full standing ovation from all four judges.

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole and finalist Stacey Solomon have topped a survey to find the public’s favourite judge and remaining contestant. Cheryl scooped just under two-fifths of the favourite judge’s poll while Stacey topped the contestant’s poll with 34%, according to the UK Press Association.
